⭐ Terms & Conditions⭐

Driving Requirements

All Drivers must be aged between 25 and 70 Years of age.
All Drivers must produce there full Driving License.
All Drivers must of hold there license for at least 2 years.
No more than 6 Penalty points.
Only Drivers named on the hire agreement are permitted to drive the Motorhome.
Copy of the drivers Photo Card license back and front.
License check code from DVLA website.
2 Forms of ID with proof of address dated within the last 90 days.
Name and Address on documents have to match the details on the Drivers license.
Also Payment details must match drivers details.
Documents must be emailed over at least 1 week before hire date.
Failure to produce these documents will result in a cancellation and no monies will be refunded.
Any driving convictions, Accidents, Insurance refusal, Endorsements, Disabilities or Medical conditions may result in cancellation and no monies will be refunded.
The hirer is responsible to ensure that the total number of persons carried does not exceed the birth limit and all passengers to wear seatbelt while vehicle is in motion.
The Hirer shall at all times drive the vehicle in a careful manner in accordance of the legal requirements.
The Vehicle must be locked at all times when left unattended.
All our vehicles are fitted with trackers which can monitor location and speed.

Insurance

Comprehensive insurance is included in the hire charge.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire recommends taking out personal holiday / travel insurance for the duration of the hire period to protect you against any losses that may be incurred by cancellations of hire in any circumstances.
Each motorhome is insured for the hire period only, therefore driving the motorhome outside the hire period will be a Road Traffic offence and the hirer will be totally responsible.
Should the vehicle be returned damaged, the deposit will be held until an assessment is made on the cost of the repair.
Any cost of repairs will be taken out of the security deposit and the remainder refunded.
In the event of an insurance claim the entire deposit will be used to pay the insurance excess.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire will not be liable for loss and damage to personal belongings or affect on any person.

Booking

Minimum 4 days booking, Some dates may be between 5 and 7 days minimum.
Booking reservation deposit of 25% of the total hire must be paid at the time of making a reservation and will be taken off the total of the hire price.
Balance due 6 weeks before the start date.
Full payment will be needed if the hire is within the next 6 weeks.
£1000 Security deposit is required 2 days before collection, Then refunded within 7 days after hire subject to Terms and Conditions laid out.
As soon as your deposit is paid you will receive an email with your booking confirmation.
Booking Deposit is non refundable.
Documents must be emailed over at least 1 week before hire date as mentioned in driving requirements.
Circumstances beyond our control where the Motorhome is not available, West Midlands Motorhome Hire reserve the right to offer you a suitable alternative, if a suitable alternative vehicle is not available you will be liable to a full refund and the hirer will have no claim against West Midlands Motorhome Hire.

Payments

All payments must be made by Bank Transfer, Cash/Cheques is not accepted this is a condition of insurance.

Cancellation

Should you unfortunately need to cancel your booking more than 6 weeks before start date we will only charge you your deposit other monies will be refunded.
Should you cancel your booking within 6 weeks of the start date you will lose the full balance.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance against any unavoidable cancellations.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire may cancel the hire on or before collection if the drivers license isn’t in accordance with our terms and conditions in this event you will lose all monies.

Collections & Returns

Please allow approximately 1 hour for the handover of your Motorhome on the day of collection.
Pick and Drop off times will be specified at the time of booking agreed with the customer.
Pick up location will be confirmed 2 days before your booking date by email.
Failure to return the vehicle on the return day at the agreed time could mean that your Motorhome is not insured and you will be charged £50 per hour which will be taken out of your security and deposit.
No Refund is available for early return of the Motorhome.
On collection you will need to sign a Hire agreement which you will receive a copy.
A charge of £50 will be deducted from the security deposit if toilet cassette isn’t emptied upon return.
Vandalism or misuse of the motorhome or any contents or equipment on board will be chargeable to the hirer, These charges are not covered by the insurance excess.
Please return the Motorhome clean and tidy to a certain standard failure to do so you will be a charged £100 taken out of your security deposit.

First Aid Kit located in glove compartment.
You must bring your own Pillows and Duvets.
Some Motorhomes may include Table and Chairs, Please read the description on the Motorhome page.
All contents of the vehicle must be returned, Hirer will be charged for loss of contents.
Fire extinguisher fitted in the Motorhome

Diesel

Motorhomes will be supplied with a full tank of Diesel and must be returned the same, If not a refuelling charge will be made to the hirer.
It is the hirers responsibility that the correct fuel is used in the Motorhome, Incorrect fuel usage will be the hirers responsibility.

Gas

Gas bottles will be included in the hire price.
Gas bottles must be isolated when travelling.

Parking Your Car

Free secure parking with 24 hour CCTV is available for your vehicle left at your own risk.

Fines

The hirer will be liable for any fines and will be paid by the hirer in full.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside of any of our Motorhomes, Evidence of smoking will result in a charge of £500 and is not covered by insurance access and will be taken out of your security deposit.

Pets

Maximum of 2 prior to agreement.
The Hirer must provide a suitable bed as pets are not aloud on the furniture.
Any damage by the pet will be responsibility of the hirer.

Mileage

Unlimited mileage.

Travel Outside Of The UK

Travelling outside the mainland UK is permitted prior to agreement.

Rights

Circumstances beyond our control where the Motorhome is not available, West Midlands Motorhome Hire reserve the right to offer you a suitable alternative, if a suitable alternative vehicle is not available you will be liable to a full refund and the hirer will have no claim against West Midlands Motorhome Hire.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire reserves the right to refuse to enter an agreement the the prospect hirer without giving a reason and you will receive a full refund.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire will not be liable for loss and damage to personal belongings or affect on any person.

Breakdowns And Accidents

In the event of a breakdown or accident West Midlands Motorhome should be notified immediately.
Breakdown and recovery will be at your disposal as soon as they can get to your location.
Breakdown contact details will be located inside the the Drivers sun visor.
Any damage caused by negligence will not be covered by insurance policy.
Every effort is made to ensure our motorhomes are in a road worthy and safe condition prior to each and every hire.
Circumstances beyond our control where the Motorhome is not available, West Midlands Motorhome Hire reserve the right to offer you a suitable alternative, if a suitable alternative vehicle is not available you will be liable to a full refund and the hirer will have no claim against West Midlands Motorhome Hire.
West Midlands Motorhome will not responsible for hotel or any other expenses subsequent to a break down but will refund the charges for any complete loss of days of use of the vehicle.
West Midlands Motorhome Hire’s Approval must be obtained in respect of any repairs prior to them taking place.
Your authorised to spend up to £100 on necessary repairs and we will reimburse you against a valid receipt.
Any repairs over £100 must be approved by a member of staff at West Midlands Motorhome Hire.
In event of an accident a report form must be handed into West Midlands Motorhome hire on return.
The maximum height of the vehicle is clearly stated in the Motorhome.
Damaged to tyres including punctures, wheels and wheel trims are the hirers responsibility and must be reported on return.
